Tony DeSantis
Tony DeSantis, along with Bill Vargas (Bassist) created this musical group called Hyde Park. In fact, Tony named the group after days and days of toiling over such a very long list of possible names. Exhausting as it was, we finally managed to adopt a name that would be memorable to any audience that we play for. Thanks Tony !
A consummate drummer that has a background in learning music at Marywood University in Scranton, Pa., Tony carries a beat that is heartfelt and yet accomplished in all genre’s that are to be played.
He has played with some outstanding musicians over time and still produces the quality and quantity to stay on top of the ever changing scene in music. Drums are the beat, the heart and soul of a group. Tony replicates that with style.
And can he sing ! Oh - My - Gosh ! He sounds clear and refreshing in his delivery. He sings a bulk of the material Hyde Park performs and is the one who normally does the ballads in the band.

My drum idol and inspiration Danny Seraphine, the original drummer of the nationally known musical group CHICAGO.
Concentrating on tuning the drums is paramount to attaining perfection.

The large public address system (P.A.) that Hyde Park uses is also available for rental through Tony DeSantis at 570.344.0000 or ades912@aol.com.
The customized system has:
- Four (4) single 15" speaker bass bins.
- Four (4) 12" high end speakers with horns.
- Mackie 24 channel mixing console.
- Peavey CS series 1000 amps for mid/high enclosures.
- Yorkville 6040 bass bin amp
- power amps total 7000 watts of pure power
- And enough effects to keep you happy all night.
There is also a lighting system to enhance your rental needs. After all, what’s sound without a light show ? It’s a beautiful thing.
The carpenter of our band, Tony can also bulid any need we may have that involves wood ( i.e., speaker cabinets). For example: new cube bass bins have been designed and built for our small p.a. system that is pictured on Bill's ( our bassist) bio page. Tony is a wiz !
